Leah DudleyA Shoreline native, Leah Dudley comes to the AYA from the Yale School of Management’s Development and Alumni Relations office. In her new role as Regional Event Coordinator at the AYA, Leah will work closely with Nory Babbitt, Director for Club and Association Relations, to coordinate a new program, Connect with Yale, which will span five cities from now until early spring. Fresh off the success of her first event in Washington, D.C. on October 29th, Leah is eager to see what experiences and adventures the other cities, Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and New York, will hold. As an M.A.L.S. candidate at Wesleyan University, her free time is filled with reading and writing. However, when a free moment presents itself, Leah enjoys painting, drawing, running, the great outdoors, and most of all, time with her German shepherd, Freeway. |

Zelma TiradoAll things financial come easily to Zelma Tirado, who arrived at the AYA last June to work as our Business Manager. Born and raised in New Haven, Zelma served in the U.S. Army from 1992 to 1999, managing logistics and supplies all over the United States and in Seoul, Korea. She began her Yale career at the Boyer Center for Molecular Medicine in 2000, and then was the Operations Manager of Microbial Pathogenesis from 2002 to 2005. During that time Zelma volunteered as a military emergency communications caseworker for the Red Cross and a Commissioner on the City of New Haven Civil Service Board. Since coming to the AYA she has begun working with the Girl Scouts. Zelma is taking courses towards her B.S. in Marketing at Southern Connecticut State University and will start their M.B.A. program thereafter. She is addicted to crime shows and will only abandon them to cheer on the New England Patriots; she also enjoys theater, travel, reading suspense novels, learning Spanish and walking her bull mastiff, Zeus. |
