Your journey begins in the Portuguese city of Lisbon, set on seven hills above the Tagus River and where great explorers set sail for the New World. After two nights in Lisbon, embark on the storied Sea Cloud to sail through dramatic landscapes and view sacred sites that have lured artists and pilgrims to Iberia for centuries. Planned for spring when wildflowers are in bloom, this delightful voyage calls at several less-visited ports. From Càdiz, travel to one of the famous White Towns, Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Cruise past Gibraltar and step ashore at Málaga for an excursion to Granada's Alhambra, an Islamic masterpiece. Continue on to Valencia, where you will see an impressive array of architecture by Santiago Calatrava, Spain's foremost living architect. Sail across the Balearic Sea to Mallorca before concluding in Barcelona.
Post-trip extension: Barcelona
