Enjoy a welcome by local Yale alumni in Beijing, and together explore the historic city from its narrow hutong alleys to the expansive Forbidden City. Climb the Great Wall, visit gardens and pandas, and witness stunning acrobatic performances. Travel to Xi'an, home of the remarkable Terra Cotta Warriors, before wandering through the silk markets and spectacular skyscrapers of cosmopolitan Shanghai. Your journey concludes with three days at the 2010 World Expo - an interactive international forum on the scientific, technological, and cultural landscapes of our time. Enjoy behind-the-scenes access at this historic event featuring over 180 countries and 50 international organizations.
