Explore the remote and beautiful coastline of Kimberley in Northwest Australia, as you cruise south from Darwin to Broome on the luxurious expedition ship Orion. Along the way, look for migrating humpback whales and view thousands of terns and ospreys at bird rookeries on Low Rocks. Using the ship's Zodiacs, sail up the King George River to its double falls, along the Hunter River to Mitchell Falls, and to the astonishing horizontal waterfalls at Talbot Bay. In the outdoor art galleries on Bigge Island, view Wandjina and Gwion Gwion (Bradshaw) aboriginal rock art believed to be between 17,000 and 50,000 years old. On Montgomery Reef, enjoy a nature walk and swim in clear, freshwater pools.
