Your comfortable expedition ship travels nimbly from the mouth of the Columbia River all the way inland to Idaho, more than 450 miles upstream. As you voyage upriver, watch the Columbia change character during the journey from habitation into the sculpted wilds of steppe and butte, exploring the pristine reaches of the Snake and Palouse Rivers. Travel in the company of knowledgeable historians and naturalists, and enjoy morning Zodiac cruises and kayaking adventures, looking for birds, deer, and beaver, reliving a famous chapter of U.S. history.
