From the bustling activity of Tokyo and Kyoto to the tranquil historic towns of Kanazawa, Hagi, and Kurashiki, and the island worlds of Sado and Miyajima, you will experience the essence of Japan: its dramatic coastlines, sacred temples and shrines, celebrated gardens at their springtime peak, majestic castles, and rich cultural heritage. A nine-night cruise aboard Clipper Odyssey carries you to a rich variety of destinations and activities and allows time for behind-the-scenes presentations, performances, and hands-on workshops. Watch sumo wrestlers practice, learn about the life and training of a geisha, tour the Mazda car factory, visit artisan kilns, and take a dip in a hot spring (onsen) bath.
