The Great Lakes: A Family Voyage Through North America’s Magnificent Inland Sea Jul 24, 2010 - Jul 31, 2010

Not many years ago, the Great Lakes were the busiest waterways in the world and a favorite summer destination. Aboard the lovely Clelia II, this family program revives the classic Great Lakes cruise. On the shores of Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie, and Ontario, welcoming towns have changed little since the 19th century, and fresh summer breezes accompany the cruise along rocky coasts and through many narrow waterways and locks. Children and adults will enjoy the pristine beauty of the Keweenaw Peninsula and Mackinac Island's bygone Victorian charms. Witness Native American culture on Manitoulin Island, and thrill to the thundering of Niagara Falls, as you sail the vast expanse between Lake Superior and Lake Ontario.
