Arriving in New Haven and finding a place to park

Click here for the most current version of Yale's campus map (including accessibility info). A printable PDF version of the map may be found here. To have an accessibility map mailed to you, please send an email message to or call the AYA at (203) 432-2110.

For those staying on campus, AYA strongly recommends that you park your car for the weekend and use the Reunion Shuttle to get around campus.  (See the Getting to New Haven & Around Campus portion of this Web site for Shuttle hours of operation.)  Yale's Pierson-Sage Garage (280 Whitney Avenue just north of the Peabody Museum) is available to alumni during reunions free of charge.  Other Yale lots have either limited or no access.

Public parking lots and garages are also available, often for a fee, and may have limited hours; many are not open overnight or on Sunday.  Street parking is not recommended other than for brief periods, as it is subject to meters, ticketing and towing.

All reunion hotels provide parking for guests for a nominal fee.

Pierson-Sage Garage at 280 Whitney Ave. is free for reunion guests and is the only Yale lot that allows continuous free parking through the weekend. Pierson-Sage is a covered, guarded parking structure accessed via the Yale parking lot at the intersection of Whitney Avenue and Humphrey Street, just north of the Peabody Museum. As you enter from Whitney Avenue, turn right immediately; Pierson-Sage will be straight ahead. The Reunion Shuttle makes regular stops at Pierson-Sage; please look for the "Reunion Parking" sign near the garage entrance.
