Plan to meet your friends at Mory’s, the place to be Thursday night as the doors are thrown open to all returning alumni!
Rows of empty seats in classrooms across campus await your arrival for our many lectures on Friday and Saturday mornings. This morning we will feature some of Yale's most distinguished faculty members in two time slots, from 9 - 10 am, and from 10:30 - 11:30 am. A number of tours and open houses are also offered.
The evening begins with a reception for all classes. Enjoy samples of a variety of wines, as well as cheese and fruit, in a beautiful and historic Yale setting. Find your friends by looking for your residential college flag.
Drop your bags in your suite and meet the rest of 2012 in the courtyard for beer and wine. You’ve been practicing your response to the “so what have you been up to?” question for weeks. You’re ready.
Life without a meal plan is hard. Relive your years of dining hall bliss and enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet that will have you shamelessly going back for seconds.
Why change the venue when everyone you are there to see is in one place?! The evening will continue under the tent as we add music and a specialty cocktail to the beer and wine. Catch up with friends, post-up at the bar, or even start the dance party.
Start your Saturday morning (weather permitting) with some gentle stretching and breathing exercises, and get your body feeling "yoga good" for a busy day of reunion activities! This is a mixed-level class featuring modifications for all levels of ability, so whether you have been practicing for years or have never touched a yoga mat, everyone can have an enjoyable experience in this class. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. No previous yoga experience necessary; children and all ages welcome.
Here's your chance to enjoy again the extraordinary opportunities available at Yale! There are two "course times," 9 am and 10:30 am. Learn or do something wonderful this morning!
Roll out of your extra-long twin bed and get excited for a picnic style lunch! Think Spring Fling but better.
Maybe you’re still trying to figure out how to budget your first few years after finishing law school/med school; maybe you’re changing jobs or going back to school and need a little advice about how to do that while ALSO starting a retirement account (IRA? Roth IRA?); or maybe you just want a guided tour of long-term financial planning’s many acronyms and rules of thumb, so that you can eventually buy that adorable little townhouse you’ve been ogling. Get answers to all of your burning financial questions.
Members of the class of 2012 will each speak for 5 minutes about their last 5 years. Our classmates are teachers and travelers, students and artists, public servants and entrepreneurs. Everyone has a story; come hear theirs.
President Peter Salovey welcomes you back to campus, offering his review of Yale today.
After President Salovey’s update, join singers from all classes for a jamboree celebrating Yale’s incredible musical tradition. Alumni from the Glee Club and Whiffenpoof and Whim ’n Rhythm alumni groups, conducted by Glee Club alumna Stephanie Tubiolo '14. MMus '16, will perform Yale favorites from many generations, concluding with a rousing rendition of “Bright College Years.” (The Glee Club rehearsal for the Celebration will take place at 10:30 am Saturday morning as part of "Morning at Yale." All singers are welcome!)
During our college years, we might have called this event “Pre-gaming Dinner.” But we’re much more mature now. Get dressed up, grab a cocktail in the courtyard, and join us as we…well…pre-game dinner while calling it cocktail hour.
With its impending renovation, we will be the last people to eat in Commons as we know it. Get excited to swap stories and share memories during this historic dinner.
You might think you missed your shot at the Last Chance Dance five years ago. But you’re a Yalie. And Yalies don’t stop believin’. Tonight is your chance to finally talk to your freshman-year crush, dance to “Livin’ on a Prayer” like no one is watching, and make enough memories to tide us over until our 10th in 2022.
Enjoy memories of Commons and a final gathering with friends at this delicious breakfast for all classes, featuring muffins, coffee cake, bagels, oatmeal, grits, Belgian waffles, eggs, French toast, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, coffee, tea and juices. We promise you won't go home hungry!
Join Yale’s ecumenical Christian community for Sunday worship, which will include an alumni preacher from one of the reunion classes, prayers for alumni who have died, and wonderful music and liturgy. Battell Chapel Choir and Student Deacon alumni especially invited.
