35th Reunion, May 23-26, 2024
“You may ask yourself, “Well, how did I get here?’” That's how we kicked this off five years ago.
This year, with all that is going on, you might be thinking, “This ain't no party, this ain't no disco . . . I ain't got time for that now.” Well, as our 35th reunion approaches, we want to make clear that this is a party, there will be some disco, and you definitely have time for this now. Indeed, you need this reunion now more than ever.
It is hard to believe, but this May we will be celebrating our 35th year reunion for the Yale Class of 1989. Please join us back at Yale over Memorial Day weekend, from May 23 to May 26, 2024. Our class will be centrally headquartered in Davenport College and registration is now open!
As we approach our 35th year since graduation, you may still be asking yourself, “Well, how did I get here?" Don’t worry – we all are still asking ourselves that question! No matter what, we want you at our reunion. No matter where you are on life’s journey, we want you there with us: to celebrate, to commiserate, to support, to lift each other up, to lend a shoulder or an ear, to exchange embraces, and to just be with each other and enjoy everything Yale’s campus offers. Now more than ever.
Our class reunion includes afternoon cocktails, class lunches and dinners in the Davenport College courtyard, and many other events over the weekend. You will be able to choose from a variety of popular faculty lectures, tour the campus, and attend special concerts. Many activities are designed for families.
Most importantly, please re-connect with your friends, roommates, suitemates, teammates, singing group-mates, band-mates, classmates, and any other type of mate, and encourage them to come. We would like everyone who plans to attend to tell two friends, and have their two friends tell two friends, and so on and so on. A great way to connect is through our class page on Facebook. We also have captains for each residential college who will be contacting each of you – and the college with the best attendance will win a prize. Davenport has won the last two reunions and is talking a lot of trash. Our class set the Yale records for reunion attendance at our 25th and 30th reunions, and we hope we do the same for our 35th.
