An afternoon of inspiring discussions about how
involvement and leadership in the Yale alumni community
drive change locally and globally.
Facilitated by Mark Dollhopf ’77, Executive Director
of the Association of Yale Alumni.

General agenda:

  • 12:30 pm - lunch
  • New Directions in Alumni Relations - learn about new initiatives and the inspiring work of alumni volunteer leaders who have been outstanding “Ambassadors for Yale” (which is the name of AYA’s current strategic plan)
  • New Directions in New Haven - discuss leadership opportunities in local activities and brainstorm ideas for new programs
  • YOUR New Directions - share insights, excitement, and ideas across our dynamic collection of attendees as you think about ways YOU are most excited to demonstrate your leadership
  • 5 pm - some current student leaders (i.e., future alumni) will join us for refreshments and mingling


The AYA is hosting this program at no cost to you or to any of the local alumni groups.
Join the ranks of the nearly 250 alumni who have participated in ELF programs in Chicago, Boston, DC and New York! Please register by Wednesday, April 11. And if you know of others who would be interested in attending, please let us know and invite them to join you at the Forum.
Additional details will be provided to registrants in a final details e-mail a couple of days before the event.
