Q2 Community Case Study:  Capital Markets and the Public Sector

June 13, 2013 6:00pm - 8:00pm

The event is generously being hosted by

Veritas Prep and the SOM Alumni Association.

The Yale SOM Quarterly Symposium series focuses on addressing critical civic questions from a uniquely Yale and SOM perspective. The facilitated discussion includes invited experts from the private and public sectors who bring real world experience working on these topics. If you were not able to make the first one, you missed a fantastic gathering that brought together 55 Yale alumni from across the schools to discuss public education and the challenges of supporting innovation with two industry leaders.

The Q2 event will focus on the intersection of capital markets and the public sector. This topic is particularly important here in the Midwest, given the recent decisions by various political leaders to leverage public/private partnerships for public works.  We will be bringing in leaders from both the public and private sector to inform this discussion, and we are confident that it will prove to be a great discussion.  The event will consist of both a facilitated discussion as well as ample time for networking and small group discussion after the panel session.  Light refreshments will also be provided.

The event is being held at the Gleacher Center (University of Chicago's downtown campus) on June 13th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  Please rsvp to Josh Milberg ( as soon as possible to reserve your space.
