New York - STAY Panel on Careers in Law

New York - STAY Panel on Careers in Law
Mon, 07/23/2012 - 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Any interest in becoming a lawyer? Have questions about law school/the law school process? Interested in a career shift within the field (e.g., international law/becoming a prosecutor/working for a company rather than a law firm)?

Come join us in Midtown Manhattan: a panel of Yalies will explain the lives of in-house, big firm, small firm and government lawyers. We’ll answer your questions and help you understand what being a lawyer might look like for you. Our panel will give you some insights and answer your questions…all in an informal and social setting:

  • Lynn Oberlander, General Counsel of The New Yorker
  • Lisa Prager, former Assistant US attorney and Partner, Morvillo Abromowitz
  • Tim Harkness, Partner, Freshfields
  • Ankita Ritwik, Summer Associate, Freshfields

Beverages and light snacks will be served (courtesy of Freshfields). Capacity is limited. To attend, please register at the following link (EventBrite):<>
