The Yale Association of Western Washington invites you to a reception and lecture with Yale economics professor Dean Karlan on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 6:00 p.m. This event, a partnership between the Association and the World Affairs Council, takes place at Paccar Hall on the UW campus. Come mingle with Professor Karlan, fellow Yale alumni, and World Affairs Council VIPs from 6:00 to 7:00 (refreshments are provided). Professor Karlan's talk on his book, More Than Good Intentions: How a New Economics is Helping to Solve Global Poverty starts at 7:00 and ends at 8:30 p.m.
