Please join us for Yale Blue Green DC's first stewardship activity! We'll be volunteering with the Anacostia Watershed Society (AWS) to help improve the area around Kingman and Heritage Islands in the Anacostia River in DC. Our group will help remove old fencing and repair existing fencing on the southern part of Heritage Marsh.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the challenges facing the Anacostia River Watershed and be part of AWS's mission to make the river and its tributaries swimmable and fishable. We'll be arranging carpools to the service site, which is also accessible via bus and Metro (plus a mile walk). Registration and a small donation are required.  For complete information and to RSVP, please visit our Eventbrite page.
