We are thrilled to invite you to the 2nd Annual College Day hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles’ College PAC Program, in proud partnership with the Yale Latino Alumni Network (YLAN) and the Yale Black Alumni Association (YBAA).

📍 Location: Cathedral High School, Los Angeles (Street parking included)
This free event is open to Littles in 8th–12th grade and community college Littles who are considering transferring to a four-year university. Littles can attend with their Big and/or a Parent/Guardian.
Event Highlights:
- Admissions Seminar led by a Yale Admissions Officer: Learn what top colleges are looking for and how to prepare now.
- Breakout Workshops by Grade Level: Yale alumni will guide students through writing exercises and share tips for strong college essays.
- Support Session for Parents/Guardians and Bigs: Learn how to best support your Little through the admissions and financial aid processes and address common misconceptions about affording private colleges like Yale.
- Meet & Mingle with Yale Alumni and the Yale Admissions Officer.
- Light lunch provided
- Raffle with prizes!
This event is designed to empower students, families, and mentors with early college knowledge and tools, especially for underrepresented communities.

- Children under 13 are not permitted.
- Limit of 3 attendees per party (e.g., one Little, one Big, one Parent/Guardian OR one Little and two Parents/Guardians).
- If you have multiple eligible Littles in BBBSLA, please complete a separate RSVP form for each.
