Dr. Scott J. Shapiro, Yale professor of law and philosophy, whose scholarship spans the philosophy of law, international and criminal law, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. He co-founded the Yale Legal AI Lab, focused on the automation of legal reasoning. BA and PhD, Columbia Univ and JD Yale Law School.
Dr. Sarah Senk, professor of English at California Polytechnic State University and a co-host of “My Robot Teacher” a podcast about AI and higher education that features conversations with researchers, educators, and industry experts on how AI is impacting teaching and learning. B.A. Yale; Master of Studies University of Oxford, and PhD, Cornell University.
Dr. Martin Ma, the founder and CEO of Happy Universe, serving many startups and multinational companies in their digital/AI transformation and globalization. B.A. in computer science, Tsinghua University, and PhD in computer science, Yale.
Mr. Alex Moore, a senior at Yale in computer science and mathematics, the Publisher of Yale’s New Journal Magazine. Alex worked on data science research for energy storage for solar, mechanical design for NASA’s ultralight Moon infrastructure, and machine learning for physics simulation for defense industry. He authored “Inside Yale’s Quiet Reckoning with AI,” a narrative study of AI culture on Yale campus.
