      Yale is an interdisciplinary leader in science, innovation, and care. The Yale Digital Medicine Symposium will explore the progress and potential of digital medicine with speakers, campus experts, and alumni executives.

      Digital Medicine ventures, including firms led by Yale alumni, attracted more than $8 billion in venture capital in 2018. Leaders in this field are promising to launch new digital therapeutics, drive down costs, and empower consumers to take charge of their health. Speakers include entrepreneurs and experts on artificial intelligence, computer/data science, digital care, and health data outcomes with CEOs from digital health firms and leaders from academia.  

      Alumni and the entire Yale community are welcome to attend the full event or sessions of interest. The speakers will be available for lunch and post-session networking with current students, residents, post-docs, and fellows.

He skis, canoes, kayaks, is an indoor climber, has completed a rollerblading marathon, and traveled around the world twice. His challenges have led him to find solutions that have benefited thousands of others, such as co-developing one of the first methods to convert books into electronic text usable by people with reading challenges, and his event includes this connection to others as a component. Matthew will speak to the audience and then he will ask people to very briefly describe who they are and what they hope to accomplish, so the good people gathered for his talk can help each other do good things for themselves—and the world, too.
