Every February, Yale’s Regional Clubs celebrate Feb Club Emeritus, turning the shortest month of the year into a global celebration of connection—no programs, no agenda, just the joy of gathering. Since its launch in 2008, Feb Club has grown into a truly global moment of camaraderie, and in 2026, Yalies once again showed how a small idea can bring big smiles to Yale communities near and far.

This year, more than 60 Regional Clubs celebrated Feb Club, and over 70 events were submitted to the YAA Events Calendar. Each Feb Club celebration shines in its own delightful way, and that’s part of the beauty of the tradition. Here are a few that offered especially fun twists, providing perfect inspiration as we look ahead to next year.

  • In Geneva, the Yale Club of Switzerland kept things cozy (and gloriously cheesy) with their annual raclette/fondue/rosti feast at Au Petit Chalet. A Feb Club tradition so warm it practically melts the Alps!
  • Farther south, the Yale Club of South Florida blended festivity with cultural richness. Their Feb Club doubled as a Chinese New Year celebration, led by board member Mo Zhou '11 MBA, who brought the Fire Horse year to life with stories of bold energy, independence, and movement.
  • In Vermont, the festivities stretched across ski slopes, Nordic trails, and even the Ben & Jerry’s factory. Attendees were free to build their own adventure—downhill, uphill, or ice cream fueled—before regrouping at the Trapp Bierhall for libations with fellow Yalies (and a few friendly Brown University alumni folks). Whether participants stayed for dinner, wandered off, or simply declared “That’s a Feb Club,” the vibe was pure midwinter conviviality.
  • And on the West Coast, the Yale Club of Sacramento kept things sweet—literally—by celebrating over dessert. Because nothing says “no agenda” like meeting up for cake!

From fondue to celebrating cultural heritage in Florida, snowy escapades in Vermont to "sweet” friendship in Sacramento, Feb Club Emeritus once again showed its true purpose: bringing Yalies together, just because it’s fun.
