The Yale Club of New York City and Yale Day of Service partnered on a recent service event where volunteers decorated cards for recipients of Citymeals on Wheels at the Children’s Spring Party.
Many of the recipients live alone, and for some, these cards were a meaningful reminder that someone is thinking of them. Small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.
Yale Day of Service continues to create opportunities for alumni, students, families, and friends to give back in communities around the world. There are so many ways to get involved and make a difference through Yale Day of Service.
Yale Day of Service is the university’s annual celebration of service, with Yalies banding together each year to give back to their local communities. Participate any day your community can gather. Check out our project page to find an event near you.
