Class of 1962 60th Reunion - Program & Schedule - 1962

As with other ’62 Reunions, there will be a Memorial Service to recall those classmates who have passed on since we last gathered. Peter Sipple, along with Bill Nye, will conduct a brief service and recite the names of those who are no longer with us. We encourage all to attend. 

Join us at the Yale University Art Gallery (YUAG) for an intimate reception with light fare and refreshments in the gallery lobby. Stephanie Wiles, Director of the YUAG will provide welcome remarks followed by access to the Susman Gallery on the 4th floor. Enjoy two fantastic new exhibitions on view, Midcentury Abstraction and Recent Acquisitions. 

As day one comes to a close, enjoy a full open bar under the tent before dinner.

Join us for dinner under the tent featuring a Local Favorites Buffet. 

Friday night's entertainment will feature the indomitable team of Dave Finkle and Bill Weeden. Their team was formed in high school, and early on they began producing their unique blend of wit, humor and energy, and performing with great panache. In recent years they've moved on: Dave's most recent novel is "Keys to an Empty House". Bill is very active as an actor and comedy write, most recently appearing in "No Shark Will". The bar this evening closes at 11pm.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before enjoying "A Morning at Yale."

Start your Saturday morning (weather permitting) with some gentle stretching and breathing exercises led by Reggie Hubbard '96, and get your body feeling "yoga good" for a busy day of reunion activities! This is a mixed-level class featuring modifications for all levels of ability, so whether you have been practicing for years or have never touched a yoga mat, everyone can have an enjoyable experience in this class. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. No previous yoga experience necessary; children and all ages welcome.

Classmate Writer's and Artist's are invited to display their work in the TD Common Room throughout Reunion Weekend. If interested in participating, please bring your desired item(s) to our 60th Reunion to display on the table for all to enjoy! Please kindly note that participation is voluntary and that this table will not be staffed by the YAA or security. Classmates contributing to the Writer's and Artist's Table are required to pickup their item(s) prior to departure. 

If you are arriving today, your first stop is Timothy Dwight College, our home for the weekend. YAA staff and students at the Class Help Desk in the Common Room will be ready to check you in and provide reunion materials, including campus housing keys if you are staying on campus.
