Yale Day of Service is excited to welcome Dr. Xiaoyan Huang ’91 as the next alumni Chair. Xiaoyan is the immediate past-chair of the YAA Board of Governors, and a longtime volunteer leader with both Day of Service and the Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC).
Alumni gathered in New York City for a panel program spearheaded by YaleFin, an alumni shared interest group for those working in banking, finance, and the markets. The event, which focused on venture capital investing in healthcare innovation, also covered other topics and developments impacting the global healthcare sector.
In 2025, we celebrated our volunteers, award recipients, and record-breaking attendance reunions. Various events all over the world engaged alumni, we enjoyed sharing alumni stories about Yale love and friendship, and learned more about campus leaders and programs from Yale Afternoons with Alison.
The Yale Medal is the highest honor bestowed by the Yale Alumni Association, honoring outstanding voluntary individual service to the university. The YAA is accepting nominations for the 2026 Yale Medal through February 1, 2026.
