To start, you may find it helpful to consider the questions on the "Find the Right Fit" part of the Volunteer page to identify why you’re looking to connect with the Yale alumni community, what you’re interested in doing, who you’re looking for, and/or where you hope to engage.
Get Involved
The YAA mission is to enhance and renew the lifelong Yale experience for all alumni, whoever they are and wherever they may be. Getting involved can be a personal journey centered on a specific learning objective or one enjoyed with other Yalies working towards a common goal. If you’re interested in connecting with Yale but are not quite sure where to begin, we have the tools to help.

Get Involved by Volunteering for a Cause
Volunteering with other Yalies is a great way to build relationships with each other and strengthen connections to your alma mater. Yale alumni engage in community service opportunities in multiple formats, including short term and extended travel-based programs.
In addition, alumni volunteer roles as Alumni School Committee interviewers, agents for the Yale Alumni Fund, and delegates to the YAA Assembly help to sustain the long-standing traditions that make the Yale experience exceptional, diverse, and meaningful.
