Join us for Common Room Conversation Nights in 2019! What are the elements of a good mystery and can those elements survive in the modern surveillance state? A conversation with Art Taylor (BR ’90) and John Copenhaver.

Remember those evenings back at Yale when you ended up in the Common Room after dinner and fell into conversation with friends, spending a few hours tossing around ideas about interesting topics with clever, well informed people? The Yale Club of DC is hoping to give you a chance to relive those days with a new series of “Common Room Conversations.” Gathering at an alum’s home for wine, cheese, and conversation will give the evening a cozy, informal feeling. Bringing in speakers who are distinguished in a particular field to provide background, toss out questions, and help shape the conversation will allow us to really explore a topic.
