Technology increasingly shapes how we work, think, pray, and live. But who shapes the technology and what shapes them?

In this live dialogue, Bryan Enriquez ’21MBA, founding team member of Hallow and Head of Customer Operations, joins Danielle Ayana James ’01 MAR, ’02 MDiv, to explore leadership at the intersection of faith, technology, and business. As a leader in one of the fastest-growing mission-driven digital platforms in the world, Bryan brings firsthand insight into what it means to build at scale without losing moral orientation.

Together, we will explore questions of virtue, discernment, and responsibility in high-growth environments. How do leaders navigate tension between speed and conscience? Bryan Enriquez ’21MBA

Bryan Enriquez ’21MBA is a founding team member of Hallow and serves as Head of Customer Operations, where he leads global strategy for user engagement, experience, and growth across one of the fastest-growing faith-based technology platforms in the world.

Hallow is a venture-backed public benefit corporation operating at the intersection of modern technology and ancient spiritual practice. Now widely recognized as the world’s leading prayer and meditation app, Hallow has scaled to millions of users globally, translating contemplative tradition into sustainable digital habit.

Bryan began his career in public service in Washington, D.C., including time in the Director’s Office at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In 2018, following a personal search for a Catholic meditation app that did not exist, he and fellow Notre Dame alumni launched Hallow. While helping scale the company, he earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management in 2021.

His work explores the integration of faith, leadership, and technology — and the responsibilities leaders carry when innovation shapes human formation. Bryan lives in Coral Gables, Florida.

Rev. Dr. Danielle Ayana James ’01 MAR, ’02 MDiv is Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer of STRAAD, a leadership and organizational performance advisory firm working with senior executives navigating strategic complexity. Ayana leads the firm’s intellectual and growth agenda, integrating systems thinking, executive coaching, and strategic foresight to develop principled, future-focused leaders.

Ayana holds graduate degrees from Yale University and the University of Chicago. She is a Certified Executive Coach (ICF), a Family Enterprise Advisor, and an Ordained Minister in the United Church of Canada. Ayana serves on the Yale Alumni Association Board of Governors 

Ayana’s life work sits at the intersection of leadership, systems change, and organizational transformation. She lives in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
