The Yale-Harvard game is fast approaching! In anticipation of the match, we asked alumni to share their Yale-Harvard stories. Meet identical twin brothers Arnold and Henry Kriegstein, who attended opposite schools and have a sweet story to share featuring their father.
“I attended Yale, class of 1971, and my identical twin brother, Henry, attended Harvard, class of 1971,” Arnold writes.
“Our father, who grew up in Poland, knew nothing about American football but decided to join us to witness the Harvard-Yale game in 1968. He had split allegiances and spent the first half sitting with me on the Yale side and the second half with my brother on the Harvard side. He cheered both of our teams on. When the game ended in an unbelievable tie, I think he was the only happy person in the stadium.”
