Biography
Her career spans more than a decade of strategic and operational work at the intersection of technology, innovation, and healthcare — driven by a deep commitment to expanding access to care. Her professional journey includes launching clinics in underserved Los Angeles communities through AmeriCorps, designing hospital systems for Yale New Haven Health, and helping a Fortune 50 company bring a telehealth product to market. Across each role, Wu has remained focused on improving health outcomes through bold ideas and inclusive, human-centered design.
After earning her MPH from Yale in 2015, she became the primary caregiver for her father following his liver cancer diagnosis. (He’s alive and thriving!) During that time, she found grounding and connection in the YaleWomen community. Motivated by this experience, she has served on the YaleWomen Council for the past nine years. As Chair, she spearheaded YaleWomen’s first comprehensive rebrand, which included an operational and brand refresh, a digital overhaul to support future scale, and a new strategy for volunteer engagement to ensure long-term sustainability.
Outside of work and volunteer life, Wu is a lifelong learner with a curiosity that spans disciplines,from professional cooking classes to a recent course on AI at Stanford. She also brings an entrepreneurial spirit, having helped launch several ventures over the years. Most recently, she co-founded a fragrance company rooted in her passion for wellness, aimed at making elevated, transparent scent experiences more accessible. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband, whom she met at Yale, and their two-year-old daughter.
