Tara Falcone graduated from Yale in 2011 with a BA degree in Spanish and a premedical focus. She was a first-generation, low-income (FGLI) student, a member of Morse College, and treasurer and vice president of organization for the collegiate sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma.
After Yale, Falcone worked as an investment analyst at an event-driven, value-oriented hedge fund in New York City. In 2016, she founded ReisUP, a financial education company committed to increasing financial literacy and access among young adults. Her flagship online collegiate financial literacy program, LIT, currently serves students at schools around the country, including Yale. She speaks and promotes financial wellness at companies and colleges nationwide, and has returned to campus to lead workshops on personal finance and budgeting.
Falcone, a certified financial planner, co-chaired the 2018 Finance and Consulting Event 2018 sponsored by Careers, Life and Yale. She was appointed to the YAA Board of Governors in 2019 and is excited to continue serving students and alumni through this role.
