Wendy Maldonado D'Amico is an independent consultant, offering community-building and writing services for businesses and nonprofits. After receiving her BA in English Literature from Yale, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Belize. She later completed a Master's in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and an MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She went on to work at Booz Allen Hamilton and SAP.
D'Amico has served on the boards of three nonprofits: Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, the Floating Hospital of New York, and Global Village Engineers. She has served Yale continuously since graduation, starting as a volunteer for the Yale Alumni Fund and then serving on the Reunion Gift Committee for her class's 10th and 15th reunions. During her time as a board member of the Yale Club of Philadelphia, she revitalized young alumni programming. She served as an YAA At-Large Delegate (2009–2012), co-chaired her 20th reunion, and has interviewed applicants through the Alumni Schools Committee for many years.
D'Amico was elected to the YAA Board of Governors in 2018 after completing a five-year term as secretary of the Yale Class of 1993, during which she led efforts to reinvent the Yale College class model of alumni engagement.
