The “Thank Your People” event, part of a larger collaboration known as “For Bright College Years,” encouraged more than 150 students to write postcards filled with thanks to meaningful people in their lives.

Since 2016, Weili Cheng ’77 has served as a kind of alumna-in-chief for Yale’s 180,000 alumni worldwide. She will retire at the end of February 2024.
