Join us for an in-depth conversation with painter Mario Moore '13 MFA as we discuss his creative journey. Dealing with issues of representation and the impact of race on the Black body, Mario's works are both intimate and powerful. Mario was most recently a recipient of the Princeton Hodder Fellowship and completed the commission of Yale's first African American graduate, Edward Bouchet 1874, 1876 PhD, a noted scientist and educator.
This Artist Talk is hosted by Nicholas Roman Lewis '93 and sponsored by the Yale Alumni Art League, the Princeton Lewis Center for the Arts, and Yale Museums Arts & Cultural, with the support of Yale Alumni Association Shared Interest Groups.
