Esther Choo, MD MPH is a Professor in the Center for Policy and Research in Emergency Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. She holds degrees from Yale College, Yale Medical School, and Oregon Health & Science University. She is a practicing physician, NIH-funded investigator, and cofounder of Equity Quotient, a company that provides metrics of healthcare culture. She is a science communicator, with frequent medical commentary on news networks such as CNN and MSNBC and writes a regular column on healthcare inequities for The Lancet. 

Xiaoyan Huang, MD, MHCM, FACC is a cardiologist and Medical Director of General Cardiology at Providence Heart Institute, Portland, Oregon. She is the Vice Chair of the Yale Alumni Association Board of Governors. Dr. Huang holds degrees from Yale College, Stanford Medical School, and Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Huang’s research focuses around specialty care and payment reform. She has published on these topics in the New England Journal of Medicine, Circulation, Harvard Business Review, and New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst, etc.
