Josh Shelov ’93

Josh Shelov ’93 (JE) is the Founder & CEO of Written Out Loud, the revolutionary new program that teaches the timeless, powerful craft of storytelling to kids age 7-17. Since the pandemic began, Written Out Loud has transformed over 1000 kids into published authors. Shelov is also an Emmy-winning filmmaker who has made multiple films in Hollywood, starring Neil Patrick Harris, Amy Sedaris, Elijah Wood, and others, as well as multiple ESPN “30 for 30” documentaries. He has taught storytelling as an adjunct professor at Yale.
