Yale Then and Now: Women's Athletics

In honor of the final day of Women's History Month, please join us as we explore the history of women's athletics at Yale. Today, Yale has a female athletic director, and female students and alumni who have gone on to national recognition as well as the Olympics. But the path was far from smooth. How did women's athletics evolve at Yale over the years, from those early days after the passing of Title IX in 1972, and up through the 80's, 90's, and to today?

Please join us for a panel discussion with three alumnae athletes: Anne Keating ’77, Patricia Melton ’83, Jennifer Bevorka ’98, and two current student athletes: Coco Chai ’23 and Clare Boone ’23. They will be joined by Yale Director of Athletics Vicky Chun. Don't miss it!
