Founder of Susan G. Komen and the Promise Fund of Florida, Ambassador Brinker is a trailblazer whose fierce advocacy and dedication to those enduring breast cancer has led to enhanced survival, reduced stigma and substantial medical advancement. Considered a “catalyst to ease suffering in the world” by President Obama, Brinker’s revolutionary impact resounds globally. Among her many leadership roles, she serves as the World Health Organization’s Goodwill Ambassador For Cancer Control readily driving coalition on an international stage. With her latest endeavor with the Promise Fund of Florida, she once again pivots her focus to the power of grassroots community engagement to end health disparities in breast and cervical cancer.
