Join other Yale Alumni, their friends, and families in a four night, three day guided tour of the battlefields of the Wilderness, Spotsylvania Courthouse, Cold Harbor, Petersburg, and Appomattox representing the Lee-Grant engagements in 1864-65, including illustrated talks by a Yale scholar. We will be headquartered in the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa at Short Pump, a luxury hotel west of Richmond as our base of operations.
The tour begins with a welcome reception and dinner at our hotel. You will visit the pivotal battlefields ending the Civil War on three successive days with special Civil War attractions not generally known or visited by the general public. Each morning features lectures describing the day’s fighting before we visit the site.
