Speakers

Susan Hockfield

Susan served as Yale provost, dean of the Graduate School and professor of neurobiology. She left Yale to become the first woman and first life scientist president of MIT. Susan is currently MIT president emerita, professor of neuroscience, member of MIT's Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, and advisor to world leaders and institutions.      

Katie Rae '97 MBA

Katie serves as the CEO and Managing General Partner of The Engine. She was a founder and managing director at Project 11 Ventures and managing director of Techstars Boston. She serves as a board member and adviser to disruptive ventures and hundreds of visionary founders. She holds an MBA from Yale and a BA in biology from Oberlin College.
