Yizhar Hess is Vice Chair of the WZO, a member of the Executive of the Jewish Agency, the Board of Trustees of Keren Hayesod and the Board of Governors of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Mr. Hess formerly served as the Executive Director of the Masorti Movement in Israel, 2007-2020. Hess is a member of the Executive of the Jewish Agency, the Board of Trustees of Keren Hayesod and the Board of Governors of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Hess is the senior representative of MERCAZ in the National Institutions.
Dr. Hess is an expert in Israel-US Jewish relations, and is familiar with the problems surrounding antisemitism in the States. His talk will include attitudes towards Jews and Jewish attitudes in the United States.
