Parenting in a Pandemic: The Early Years

Crowley is a pediatric nurse practitioner and professor emerita, Yale University School of Nursing. She earned her BSN at The Catholic University of America, her MA at New York University, and her PhD (in Family Studies) at the University of Connecticut. She provided pediatric primary care for more than 40 years in various practices in Connecticut and served as coordinator for the Yale School of Nursing, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner masters program. Her research, publications, community activities, and professional involvement for more than 30 years have focused on improving the health and developmental outcomes for children in childcare and their families. She provides consultation for the six Yale-affiliated childcare programs and serves on the COVID-19 Public Health Task Force for Child Care Aware of America. She also participated in the White House Conference on Child Care.

Ferholt is a pediatrician and a clinical professor of pediatrics at Yale. She received her MD from the University of Rochester and her pediatric specialty training at Yale. She practiced primary care pediatrics in New Haven for more than 45 years. She was a co-founder of the Yale University School of Nursing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner ,masters program. Her specialty training is in Behavioral-Developmental Pediatrics, and she has provided pediatric consultation to child care programs for several decades.
