Don't be fooled. This is no ordinary book club.
Free Minds connects incarcerated youth and adults with their communities through poetry. Volunteers, alongside Free Minds Poet Ambassadors, come together to provide uplifting (written) feedback on the poetry of currently incarcerated members, which is then returned to the poet.
All you need is a computer or tablet and an internet connection. Free Minds staff and Poet Ambassadors will provide an introduction to the organization and virtual platform.
This event is hosted by Yale Day of Service and Yale Alumni Service Corps in partnership with Free Minds Book Club.
