Join Yale Alumni College and Yale Club of Chicago at the Chinatown branch of the Chicago Public Library (near the Red Line) to hear from Hallie Metzger ’65 MAT, ’75 MFS. Hallie will bring her two disciplines together by examining how resource use in the ancient world transformed natural landscapes and shaped the people who lived in them. Along the way, she will describe amazing wooden artifacts that have been excavated along Hadrian's Wall, life in Britain and military operations against local tribes.
The event is sponsored by Yale Alumni College and the Yale Club of Chicago. It will be followed by an optional group dinner at a nearby restaurant.
