What Lies Ahead – COVID Outlook 2021: Yale Alumni at the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference

During the 39th annual JP Morgan Healthcare Conference, join the Yale alumni community for a fireside chat with Yale Professors Akiko Iwasaki and Saad Omer.

Dr. Iwasaki is the Waldemar Von Zedtwitz Professor in the Department of Immunobiology and a professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Yale. She will address disease pathogenesis, long COVID, and immunology around the disease.

Dr. Omer is the director of the Yale Institute for Global Health and professor of medicine and epidemiology at Yale University, Schools of Medicine and Public Health. He will talk about vaccines.

Dr. Xiaoyan Huang ’91, cardiologist and medical director of general cardiology at Providence Heart Institute in Portland, Oregon, will moderate this discussion.

This fireside chat brings together Yale alumni during the annual JP Morgan Healthcare Conference. We look forward to resuming our annual program in person in San Francisco in 2022. Q&A is welcome from the audience. Networking will follow this program.

This programming has been brought to the alumni community by the Yale Alumni Association Shared Interest Groups and Yale School of Medicine Alumni Affairs, and co-sponsored by the Office of Cooperative Research, the Yale Alumni Health Network, and the Yale Bio+Tech Alumni Group.

By registering for this webinar, you agree to share your email with these groups.
