Yalies around the world rejoiced when the University announced the arrival in New Haven of the puppy who will assume the title and responsibilities of Handsome Dan XIX, the latest bulldog to serve as Yale’s famed live mascot.
Join us on Instagram live with Handsome Dan XIX and his human, Kassandra Haro '18. Kassandra Haro is a native of Arizona. She graduated from Yale's Berkeley College in 2018 with a degree in Political Science. As an undergrad she participated in Naval ROTC, was a campus tour guide, an admissions office senior presenter, and worked at the Yale Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics. She has worked at the Yale Visitor Center, which is under the Office of Public Affairs & Communications, in a professional capacity since 2018 as the center's tour coordinator.
Kassie will share her Yale story and what she's most looking forward to with the newest Handsome Dan.
