Yale Alumni Live: Zibby Owens

Join us live with Zibby Owens ’98 to hear her story.

Zibby is an author, publisher, podcaster, and mother of four. She runs Zibby Owens Media, a media company comprised of Zibby Books, co-founded by Leigh Newman, and Moms Don’t Have Time To. She is the award-winning creator and host of the popular daily podcast “Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books” in which she interviews authors about their books. An author herself, Zibby has edited two anthologies, “Moms Don’t Have Time To: A Quarantine Anthology” (Skyhorse, 2/16/21) and “Moms Don’t Have Time to Have Kids” (Skyhorse, 11/2/21). She also has two children’s picture books forthcoming from Flamingo, a division of Penguin Random House, including “Princess Charming” (4/19/22). Her memoir will be published by Little A, a division of Amazon Publishing, in July 2022.

In addition, Zibby is the editor-in-chief of and regular contributor to “Moms Don’t Have Time to Write,” a Medium publication. She’s the creator of The Zibby Awards and the co-host with Tracey Cox of the podcast “SexTok with Zibby and Tracey,” which went viral on TikTok. Zibby is also the weekly books columnist for Katie Couric Media and the “KCM Wake Up Call” newsletter, a monthly contributor to Good Morning America, a frequent TV personality, and has contributed to The Washington Post, Parents, Slate, and other publications.
