Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC) Fort Mojave Indian Tribe Trip Info Session Event Graphic

In March 2024, YASC has a unique opportunity to participate in a cross-cultural immersive learning experience with the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe-the Pipa Aha Macav -"The People by the River" on its remote tri-state reservation located along the Colorado River. YASC, in conjunction with the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, will work with students on a variety of education, culture, financial literacy and fitness & wellness projects.

Join us for an insightful conversation with panelist Ashley Hemmers ’07, enrolled member and Tribal Administrator of the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe and Karen Green ’78, YASC board member and trip producer for this program who will moderate this info session.

If you want to join us on this exciting intercultural program, this is a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and get involved. Ashley and Karen will provide an overview of the trip and discuss the Tribe's need for specialized projects in robotics, dance, education, fashion design, financial literacy, and fitness and wellness.
