Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC) Panama 2024: Reflections & Insights from YASC’s 30th Service Trip

Join us for our October webinar as we reflect on the transformative volunteer experience undertaken by the Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC) this summer. This milestone journey marked YASC's 30th service trip and took a dedicated cohort of 37 alumni, staff, family, and friends to the vibrant and culturally rich landscapes of Panama, also known as the "Crossroads of the World." During this engaging session, we will share inspiring stories and insights from our time spent collaborating with Sustainable Harvest International (SHI) in two rural communities near Penonomé. While there, our volunteers participated in impactful projects focused on environmental conservation, regenerative agriculture, and community education, all aimed at fostering sustainable practices among local farmers.

This is just not a recap of our journey; it's an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of community, service, and mutual learning that defines YASC. Whether you participated in the trip or are simply interested in our mission, your presence and participation will make this discussion even more special.

Event will be recorded.
