Yale Blue Green Sustainability Webinar Series featuring Professor Martha Muñoz & Catherine Burns ’04 PhD

Martha Muñoz is Assistant Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University and an Assistant Curator of Vertebrate Zoology at the Yale Peabody Museum. Her research focuses on uncovering the mechanisms that cause evolution to accelerate or slow down, focusing on reptiles and amphibians. She then applies her discoveries to infer how vulnerability and resilience to global change varies across lineages and across geography. 

Catherine (Cat) Burns ’04 PhD leads the effort at The Nature Conservancy to bring expertise in conservation science and practice to inform institutional investment partnerships focused on forestry, agriculture, and tourism investments-aimed at delivering conservation impact alongside returns.
