This event is the 39th in a series providing candid views of various careers, particularly those with myths, that Yale students and alumni sometimes consider or pursue.
Sales is particularly rife with myths, especially on campus. Here’s the reality: Sales connects every company, every nonprofit, and every consumer to each other, making business possible. Sales requires complex problem-solving. Done well, sales is fundamentally about helping clients, partners, and consumers achieve their goals, while making a business thrive.
Our panelists represent three different types of sales: consultative sales, relationship-driven sales, and scaled sales and marketing.
The panel discussion will be held via streaming video and audio and there will be an opportunity to speak with the panelists and to network for 30 minutes after the panel.
