The newly created Yale Club of Michigan has launched a book club to help us explore ideas, create new ways of understanding and deepen our connections around books. We also want to support our ongoing connections to Yale by featuring work by Yale authors and books about Yale. Our reading selection for August is Elizabeth Alexander's The Light of the World. This memoir is a timely meditation on love, loss and transformation, written by a distinguished alum and former faculty administrator of Yale.
