Volunteers will be assisting with the Cold Food Sort operation on Saturday, May 20th in participation with Yale Day of Service. Maximum number of volunteers is 15.
Details:
- ALL warehouse volunteers must wear close-toed shoes. Volunteers wearing sandals or flip-flops will not be allowed to volunteer.
- We have jackets and gloves available onsite, but please bring cozy layers to work the Cold Food Sort shift.
- Bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed in the warehouse. Lockers are available, or we request that you leave these items in a locked vehicle.
- In efforts to remain as environmentally friendly as possible, we encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable water bottle.
Parking:
- Your volunteer shift will take place at 331 Great Circle Road in Nashville. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your shift.
- Limited parking is available in the Second Harvest lot. We encourage volunteers to carpool whenever possible.
Covid-19 Policy: Masks are currently optional for all volunteers, but we ask that you please refrain from coming in if any of the statements below pertain to you:
- In the past 24 hours, I have experienced COVID-19 symptoms (e.g., fever, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, diarrhea, etc.).
- I am currently waiting on results from a COVID-19 test.
- I am unvaccinated, I have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19
